As the owner and producer of PACK EXPO, PMMI works with designated vendors to enhance the exhibitor and attendee experience. Please note that the official PACK EXPO East contractors and vendors are listed below. Unless specifically arranged or communicated by Show Management, only these approved vendors should be contacting you regarding your participation in PACK EXPO East.
PACK EXPO East exhibitors have reported receiving solicitations from vendors NOT affiliated with PMMI or PACK EXPO—specifically regarding hotel reservations, attendee list sales and advertising in Packaging Industry News, which is published by Source Group.
We would like to remind all exhibitors that the attendee mailing list for PACK EXPO East is only available for rent through PMMI. Any solicitation claiming to have the email list of PACK EXPO East attendees, or attendee lists from any PACK EXPO show, is fraudulent. If you are contacted by third-party companies via email, phone, or fax, offering email lists, please be aware that the information they offer should be considered entirely suspect as we do not allow access to the contact information of show attendees. We encourage you to block the sender, delete the email, and report scams to the U.S.FTC fraud division. When reporting, select “An Impersonator”, followed by “Well-Known or Trusted Business.”
If you receive a solicitation and are unsure of the vendor’s affiliation with PMMI or PACK EXPO East, please contact the PMMI Show Department at 571.612.3200 or expo@pmmi.org.
To learn more about reliable lead generation and show attendee targeting opportunities, including the option to purchase a one-time use of the Attendee Mailing List (through a third-party mail house) contact your PMMI Media Group sales consultant.
PMMI has received reports from exhibitors who booked hotel rooms through various third parties only to subsequently learn that no reservations were in place and their deposits, along with full prepayment, were not returned.
PMMI has also received reports of unofficial hotel brokers offering discounts on space rates if you book your reservations through them. Please be advised that your hotel booking is in no way tied to your space reservation at the show.
Additionally, numerous convention bureaus are reporting hundreds of complaints from trade show managers who are receiving similar reports from exhibiting companies who booked rooms through a “third-party room broker” and ended up at sold-out hotels with no reservations and no recourse for the payment of rooms. These brokers falsely imply they are affiliated with show management and secure deposits and/or full prepayment from exhibiting companies.
Please note that booth space pricing is not associated with hotel accommodations. Any vendor or third party claiming to offer discounted booth space rates contingent upon hotel bookings is not authorized and should be considered fraudulent.
The Official Hotel Reservation Office for all PACK EXPO shows is Expovision. PMMI has no affiliation with any other room brokers. Expovision is the only company that is officially sanctioned and certified by PMMI to book hotel rooms on behalf of its exhibitors and attendees. You can book your hotel reservation online beginning in April 2027 Expovision can be reached by phone at 866.523.0877 or email at packexpohotels@expovision.com. Please contact Expovision directly with any concerns.
We urge all exhibitors to be especially diligent when engaging with any vendor who is not an official contractor of PACK EXPO. PMMI and our official PACK EXPO vendors will never send emails from a non-business account such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.
If you receive a solicitation and are unsure of the vendor’s affiliation with PMMI or PACK EXPO East, please contact the PMMI Show Department at 571.612.3200 or expo@pmmi.org.
