Start planning your outbound processes now. PACK EXPO Services uses Exhibitor and Exhibitor Appointed Contractor entered information to generate your outbound Material Handling Agreements (MHAs). If you enter the outbound carrier and destination information prior to the last day of the show and have a zero balance, your MHA and pre-printed shipping labels will be delivered to your booth on the last day of the show. Once this data is entered, we will update any paperwork and print additional labels at the Exhibitor Service Center. Avoid delays, don’t wait to submit this information until the show closes. Contact a CSM if you need help completing this process.
You can submit the required Outbound MHA paperwork through the Exhibitor Service Manual located in the Exhibitor Resource Center.
Reminder – an MHA is required for each truckload and each final destination. Many booths will need multiple MHAs. Piece counts must be on all MHA’s and the name of the carrier must match the name of the carrier checking in at the Marshalling Yard.
If your outbound information is not captured in advance, or you have an outstanding balance, you will need to come to the Exhibitor Service Center to receive your outbound packet.
Need help with your MHA or want to place a new order? Please visit the Exhibitor Service Center onsite, ask a Floor Service Reprepsentative, login to the Exhibitor Resource Center, email pes.service@packexposervices.com, or text EXPO to 972.521.3035.
The Exhibitor Service Center will be located to the left of the 200 aisle. Coffee service will be provided in the Exhibitor Service Center on move-in days from 8:00am-11:00am.
Customer Service Managers (CSMs) are stationed at the Exhibitor Service Center and can assist you with placing orders for all show services. You may also reach the Exhibitor Service Center by texting 972-521-3035.
The PMMI Member and Exhibitor Lounge will be located outside of Exhibit Hall E. This lounge will provide a convenient place to catch up on work or get a break from the hustle and bustle on the show floor.

For Emergency Services (medical or security), or to report a civil disturbance, please contact PCC Customer Safety at 215-418-4911 on your cell phone or via the beige house phones located around the convention center at ext. 4911. Calling the number listed will enable dedicated on-site teams to respond faster and navigate the campus quicker, so please use this number instead of calling 911.
Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and first aid kits are located at various sites throughout the building. The six (6) AED Machines are located at the Command Station, on the dock by the rear freight behind Hall B, and on the East side of the Bridge, Broad St. Atrium (South side wall), Hall E Concourse, Terrace Ballroom 1 (Back of House).
The Pennsylvania Convention Center security personnel patrol and monitor facility public areas, parking lots, and perimeters. Security staff are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Badges are required for entry into all exhibit halls. Show Management works with an independent security firm, Imperial Events Security Service (IESS), to provide perimeter hall security during move-in, the show and move-out days. With an event the size and scope of PACK EXPO East, attendees and exhibitors should make every effort to secure small and/or easily removable items. Please always monitor your belongings and do not leave any valuables such as phones, wallets, etc. unattended.
Note: Optional On-Site Booth Security orders placed with less than a 48-hour advanced notification will be billed at $60.00 per hour.
All booths must be completely set up by Monday, February 16 at 1:00pm. Once any crate is empty and ready to be taken out of the hall, place an EMPTY label on the crate and make sure your booth number is clearly visible.
EMPTY labels are available for pick up in the Exhibitor Service Center or from Floor Service Reps (FSR) and Floor Managers. Please be sure to use the specific-colored labels for your assigned section on the floor.
Keeping your empty containers until the end of move-in WILL NOT ensure that you receive your crates first during move-out and delays the move-in process preventing service providers from being able to access your booth and others around you. All cartons and crates must have EMPTY labels attached and be ready for pick up by Monday, February 16 at 1:00pm. No crates will be allowed in the aisles.
VISQUEEN REMOVAL (protective covering for carpet) It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to remove any visqueen and place it in the aisles by 1:00 pm on Monday, February 16. Any visqueen not removed by 1:00pm will be removed by the cleaning crew, and this cost will be billed to the exhibiting company. You can order visqueen removal at the Exhibitor Service Center, via email at pes.service@packexposervices.com or by texting 312-791-6060.
Please review the Shipping and Material Handling Checklist in advance of shipping your display materials.
The Show Management Office will be located on Level 100, Room 118C.
Show Management Hours:
PES Floor Service Reps (FSRs): Patrol the show floor, confirming delivery of PACK EXPO Services (PES) provided items and can also assist with questions or concerns regarding orders. The FSRs can also be contacted through the text program. They wear black jackets with a PES logo.
PMMI Floor Managers: Show Management has assigned Floor Managers to assist exhibitors and to ensure that all exhibitors follow the rules and regulations of the show. During set-up and tear-down, they will be throughout the exhibit hall, wearing red PMMI jackets for identification.
During move-in, lights will be on half-power, 24-hours a day. During show days, lights will be on full power one hour prior to show opening until one hour after show close.
Rigging (Lift Labor) Desk: Rigging orders should be placed at the Exhibitor Service Center.
I&D, Electrical, and Plumbing: The Exhibitor Labor Desk for I&D, electrical, and plumbing is located at the Exhibitor Service Center. You must sign in and sign out for your booth I&D labor at this location. Exhibitors must request final hookups for your machines and ask specific utility related questions at the Exhibitor Service Center. New orders for electrical and plumbing must be submitted at the Exhibitor Service Center or by texting 312-791-6060. Floor plans are required for utility services, so be prepared to share this information before submitting your onsite request.
When ready for a final hookup, the exhibitor must be present. All hookups should be requested at the Exhibitor Service Center. Please be patient with hookup requests, as most hookups are requested on the last day or two before the show opens. Technicians will respond to these requests as soon as possible.
Multiple pieces of equipment may be connected to 110v, 120v, 500-, 1000-, and 2000-watt electrical services if they do not exceed the maximum rated amperage. If you exceed the maximum rated amperage, you may "blow a fuse" or potentially damage equipment. For safety reasons, all 208V, 480V, and 120V 30A outlets require PES labor for connection/disconnect. All exhibitors providing cables and cords must be 3-wire grounded. Exhibitors cannot run any cords under the carpet/flooring or place any covers over the cords on top of the carpet/flooring within their booth. Note: Exhibitor supplied distribution boxes / manifolds are not allowed.
If you need power during move out days, please contact your Customer Service Manager at the Exhibitor Service Center before 12:00 pm Thursday, February 19.
Avoid Code Violations: PACK EXPO Services is subject to the City’s electrical codes and regulations. PES electricians are required to inspect all electrical connections. If you are in non-compliance with the code, we will work with you to try and repair the fault and restore the booth to code (additional charges may apply).
It is extremely important that your technical people know the codes and construct a booth that conforms to them. Electrical equipment must be listed and labeled by a nationally recognized testing laboratory, i.e., Underwriters Laboratory.
Rollover Labor: If you need to bring back labor the following day to complete a project or to avoid overtime charges, you must schedule the rollover labor needed at the Exhibitor Service Center by 2pm the day before. Labor will not be automatically dispatched back to a booth to complete an open ticket. If you have questions concerning roll-over labor needs, please stop by the appropriate desk to discuss your options.
Exhibitor Work Rules: Make sure you read and understand the Work Rules while onsite at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Water bottle refill stations are located throughout the Pennsylvania Convention Center. A full list of locations can be found here.
