What are the show dates and hours?

Are face coverings required?

No. The city of Philadelphia announced on March 2, 2022 that the mask mandate has been dropped for most indoor settings. As such, masks or face coverings are no longer required to attend PACK EXPO East 2022.

Is proof of vaccination required to exhibit or attend PACK EXPO East?

No, per the Philadelphia Department of Health Update issued February 16, 2022, proof of vaccination is not required. Click here for details.

Do Philadelphia Restaurants Require proof of vaccination to dine-in?

Dining establishments are not required to check vaccination status. Please call in advance to check each restaurant’s COVID policies.

What kinds of safety protocols will you have in place?

PMMI is committed to following government regulations and industry standards related to the pandemic. We will adjust health and safety protocols for the show based on these guidelines and current conditions. You can find updates on the PACK Ready Health & Safety page.

Will there be shuttle bus service between hotels and the convention center?

No, all PACK EXPO East hotels in our room block are located within a few minutes’ walk of the convention center, so no shuttle services will be provided.

How should I book my hotel room?

To receive discount room rates for show participants, make your reservations through the Travel + Hotel section of this website. The button on the Book Hotel page connects you to the reservations system for Expovision, the official Hotel Reservation Office for PACK EXPO East. Please be aware of unofficial housing vendors and scams.

How will I receive my entry badge?

For PACK EXPO East 2022, all badges will need to be picked up upon arrival at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Badges will not be mailed in advance.

Will there be a virtual option to attend PACK EXPO East?

Some educational content will be made available during and after the show on-demand to all registered attendees. Full access to exhibitor showrooms including videos, new products and more is also included with both online and in-person registration. The web-based portion of PACK EXPO East, PACK EXPO Xpress, costs $30 to attend. Learn more about PACK EXPO Xpress.

What are the age restrictions for PACK EXPO East?

No person under the age of 14 is allowed on the show floor before, during or after the show. Neither strollers nor carried infants are allowed on the show floor.

How much does registration cost?

Badge registration is $30 through Friday, February 25, 2022, and $130 thereafter. In person registration includes access to the PACK EXPO East show floor, free educational sessions taking place in venues on the show floor, the Welcome Reception and other networking events (unless otherwise noted).

How many complimentary booth personnel badges do we receive?

Exhibitors can register as many booth personnel as they would like, for free, if completed by February 18, 2022. After February 18, 2022, all badge registrations will incur a $15 fee per badge. All badges must be picked up on-site. Click here to register your staff.

What is the cancellation policy?

Your 25% deposit is nonrefundable and nontransferable. For cancellations received after August 27, 2021 and before November 19, 2021, the exhibitor will forfeit any monies paid to date up to 75% of the total booth cost, with a maximum forfeiture of $10,000*. For cancellations received after November 19, 2021, exhibitor is obligated to pay the total cost of space assigned, with no cap on the cancellation penalty.

*Payments made above the $10,000 forfeiture fee will be reserved as a credit towards a future show within 24 months. In the event that the exhibitor does not participate in a PACK EXPO/PMMI show within 24 months, the credit will be forfeited.

How can I improve my priority point standing?

Each exhibitor is assigned a priority point ranking for space selection. PACK EXPO East, PACK EXPO International and PACK EXPO Las Vegas hold separate priority standings. By exhibiting continuously, and those ahead of you in priority not exhibiting, an exhibitor begins to move up the priority point system. Choosing not to exhibit at PACK EXPO Las Vegas or PACK EXPO International does not affect your PACK EXPO East priority.

What is the cost per square foot to exhibit?

The base rate is $31.25 per square foot. PMMI member space rates vary. If you are a PMMI Member and would like to know your space rate, please call 571.612.3200.

Drayage/material handling is included in your space rate provided your shipment/truck checks in at the Pennsylvania Convention Center by 2:00 pm on your assigned target move-in date. See the PACK EXPO East Rules & Regulations and the Exhibitor Services Manual for additional information and special assessment pricing.

How can I become an Exhibitor at PACK EXPO East?

Submit the exhibit space application to reserve your booth. All booths are currently being sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. To start your application, go to Reserve My Booth.

What is my Exhibitor Dashboard login ID?

The Exhibitor (Show) Contact for your company has been provided the ID and a password to log in to the Exhibitor Dashboard. If you are having trouble logging in, please have the show contact call the PMMI Show Department at 571-612-3200 or email expo@pmmi.org. Passwords can only be given out to the Show Contact on file.

How do I populate my company information for inclusion in the online directory?

Go to the Exhibitor Dashboard. The online Exhibitor Search is the directory for the show. As an exhibitor, you are automatically included in the online directory (Exhibitor Search) and the printed Show Guide. The PACK EXPO East Show Guide lists only exhibiting company names and booth numbers. All other information you wish to convey to attendees about your company should be in your online company profile.

Login information has been sent to the Exhibitor (Show) Contact via the Exhibitor Update email. Log in to the Exhibitor Dashboard with your ID & Password and begin populating your company description, vertical markets, product categories and more.

What are the height regulations?

Booths that are 599 sq. ft. and under have a maximum 12’ height restriction (no hanging signs permitted), booths 600-1499 sq. ft. have a maximum 14’ height restriction and booths 1500 sq. ft. and over have a maximum 18’ height restriction. What is the payment schedule for booth space?

A nonrefundable 25% deposit should accompany your Exhibit Space Application. An additional 50% payment is due by August 27, 2021. Final payment is due November 19, 2021.  If you have any questions about payment for your booth space, you can contact Dorine Cole at dcole@pmmi.org or 571.612.3200.

What is drayage?

Drayage is the moving of the exhibitor’s machinery, etc., off the exhibitor’s truck at the dock to the exhibitor’s booth and back to the dock to be loaded back onto the truck. This is included in the price of the exhibitor’s booth space.
